Back-to-school can feel big—especially for kids who find school challenging. In this post, I share the “ABC’s” of a supportive start: Advocacy (how parents can champion their child), Bravery (encouraging effort over perfection), and Connection (simple ways to stay emotionally close through the school-year transition).
Back-to-school season can bring a mix of excitement and worry—for kids and parents alike. In this post, I share three gentle ways to prepare for a smoother start: building trust with your child’s teacher, approaching school as a team, and supporting the transition from summer routines to school routines with patience and consistency.
